The Elyssa project is an initiative of the French Institute of Tunisia supported by the Team France Fund. It provides an opportunity for artists based in Tunisia to express their creativity while benefiting from structured professional support.

Mohamed Ben Soltane

Based between Montreal and Tunis, he is a visual artist and curator active since 2004. His works have been exhibited in renowned institutions, including Apexart in New York, the Museum of the History of Ulm, and Art Vancouver. He is also a co-founder of the Jisr Association, which will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary.

In addition, he is an art director, university lecturer, and researcher. He previously served as an exhibitions coordinator at the MOMENTA Biennale de l’image in Montreal and actively contributes to the international art scene. The common thread across all his endeavors is a commitment to serving the art ecosystem wherever he is.
