The Elyssa project is an initiative of the French Institute of Tunisia supported by the Team France Fund. It provides an opportunity for artists based in Tunisia to express their creativity while benefiting from structured professional support.
Flora Boillot is a cultural professional specialised in contemporary
creation and international cooperation. She is responsible for the
visual arts, architecture and higher education at the Institut
français in Paris within the Pôle des Saisons et Temps-forts.
Before that, she gained a wide international experience as cultural
attaché in China for the French diplomatic network (2018-2022), she
was based in India between 2007 and 2013 where she was director of
the Subodh Gupta and Bharti Kher studios in New Delhi, and
responsible for the ICC at the French Institute in India. She also
collaborated closely on the Paris-Delhi-Bombay exhibition
presented at the Centre Pompidou, in particular by organising
research and creation residencies for French artists in India as part
of the preparations for the exhibition. She accompanies numerous
artists and institutions in the development of their projects in
France and abroad, convinced that contemporary creation is a fertile
space for exploration, reflection and debate.
